Ephesians 2:12-19

12remember that you were at that time separate from Christ,
Or alienated

bexcluded from
Or citizenship in Israel
the people of Israel, and strangers to dthe covenants of the promise, having eno hope and fwithout God in the world.
13But now in gChrist Jesus you who hpreviously were ifar away
Lit became; or were made
have kbeen brought near

mby the blood of Christ.
14For He Himself is nour peace, owho made both groups into one and broke down the

Or the hostility, by abolishing in His flesh the Law

in His flesh the hostility, which is tthe Law composed of commandments expressed in ordinances, so that in Himself He might

16and that He might yreconcile them both in zone body to God through the cross,

17And acHe came and preached adpeace to you who were aefar away, and peace to those who were afnear; 18for through Him we both have agour access in ahone Spirit to aithe Father. 19So then you are no longer ajstrangers and foreigners, but you are akfellow citizens with the
